This page is been updated also with data following
book publication.
Melaleuca is a plant used by many people with HIV
for Candida treatment. A recent study (Yanodourek et al., 1998) showed
Melaleuca effectiveness in oral Candida resistant to Fluconozolo. For a
better evaluation we suggest to consult the book above-mentioned.
Considerations:
-
Melaleuca resulted effective in several clinic studies
for oral Candidiasi and vaginal treatment in people with HIV.
-
Melaleuca not showed any toxic effect and possible side
effects are light and reversible. In some people individual intollerance
and allergic reactions have been showed, which suggest, in case of such
symptoms, to communicate with the practitioner for a better evaluation.
